This is a directed drawing program geared toward creating confident, successful artists of all interested children. Our curriculum is where education and fun meet to produce visual results that kids and parents love!
Lessons are very structured and are 75 minutes in length. Classes are in the afternoon immediately after school. Instructors are assigned to a school and stay with the same group of children throughout the year.
We thoroughly train our instructors in the ArtWise methodology and teaching techniques.
Academic training in art is required and some background working with groups of children.
- 2 to 5 hours / week. This is VERY part time work.
- We are looking for people to teach 2 or more classes each week, usually in the afternoon sometime between 2:00 and 4:00 PM, depending on school dismissal times.
- The lessons are quite structured. This program strives to teach the technical skills of drawing. We believe that if children develop confidence in their drawing abilities they are much more likely to continue participating in art classes as they get older.
